The Overview
As the Project Manager for our Development and Design department, you’ll manage the entire lifecycle of our clients’ web projects — from initial project kickoff to the live online delivery. You have an appreciation for web design and development as well as a basic understanding of best practices, but your true superpower is keeping multiple projects organized and running smoothly while delighting our clients.
What You Do In Your Workday:
Each day, you’ll serve as the primary contact for our internal design and development team, as well as our clients. You’ll streamline communication between these talented technicians and creatives, making sure that everyone’s on the same page and fully understands their role in making our clients’ visions come to life.
Your Workdays Can Include Any of the Following Tasks:
- Meet with clients to understand goals and define scope of projects
- Communicate and schedule tasks with our internal team of developers, designers, inbound strategists, and content marketers
- Manage multiple projects within our project management software to ensure projects are delivered on time and ahead of schedule
- Ensure projects are within proposed budgets
- Set clear expectations and realign expectations to meet goals when needed
- Lead regular client calls to provide project updates and reports
- Contribute to proposals and quotes
- Anticipate project needs and proactively develop solutions
- Provide final quality check before deliverables are handed off to client
The Skills and Qualifications You Bring:
- Experience managing creative projects (agency experience preferred)
- Experience working with clients (agency experience preferred)
- Outstanding verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing strategies
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-priority projects at various stages of completion
- Experience working in project management software (ClickUp preferred)
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and offer solutions
- Experience working in Content Management Systems (HubSpot preferred)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Knowledge of basic website design and development a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, project management, web development, web design, or related field preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
