Confirmed Opt-In (Double Opt-In)

A more stringent form of opt-in subscription. After providing contact information, the subscriber receives a verification message requiring them to confirm they want to be added to a subscription list by clicking a link or replying to the message. Only after this additional step are subscribers added to the list.
